Synopsis
At Oz High, the Show Choir has a long tradition of winning. Wiz, their over-the-top director will do anything to assure this year’s team breaks the record of consecutive wins. He selects an elite group of kids to perform, and put all other kids in the Understudies. While he ignore the Understudies, he and his assistant, Minion, prepare for the team for the competition. Along the way, a group of friends form in the face of bullying and elitism. And, out of that friendship, two young performers, both insecure, find the belief in themselves to overcome their fears and blossom into stars. As Wiz pushes his team over the brink, it’s up to the Understudies to step up to the challenge at the competition.
